This is my first Blog. I think it would be nice to start with my present job which i am doing with CDAC. The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) established in March 1988, as a Scientific Society of the Department of Information Technology (formerly, Dept. of Electronics), Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (formerly, Ministry of Information Technology), Government of India, is primarily an R & D institution involved in the design, development and deployment of advanced Information Technology (IT) based solutions.
On 10th Jan, 2006 I was reading my mails, where I got one mail from Sara feder(Horoscope). In the mail it was written that exactly after 7 days, your life will be changed. And it happend, I got selected in CDAC R&D on 17th Jan2006, even it was tughest to get in. Three of my other friends from my group in ACTS itself were also got selected. And that was the day when My ACTS coordinator(Mrs Binu J) use word Colleague for me. Thats how My Career in CDAC started..
It took two and half months after my placement to join CDAC R&D(But I put on some weight as I was at home for that time)..But before coming bangalore, I went to Vaishno Devi Mandir with my very close to heart friends Amit Behal, Gaurav Bhardwaj, Manjinder Pal, Sushender..
We Four CDACians(Me, Bindu, Shaveta & Mennakshi) came together by train. My friend Vicky(He is with me since first day in CDAC-ACTS, at the time of interview) already arranged house for us. Manoj Narwal(Jaat) also stayed with us. We three and those four(Fourth is Aasha Di) Gals had great fun that time. I really miss those amazing days.
On First day in CDAC we just did some formalities and got our seats. We were very much excited. We got Access cards, which gave different feeling that we are now employed.
In a little over a decade since inception, C-DAC has developed and supplied a range of high performance parallel computers, known as the PARAM series of supercomputers.
